Happy Cinco de Mayo! Today I decided to share few of the hair masks I have used and a brief review about them.
Hair mask is just one of those things that I use multiple times a week. Usually I try to stick to more affordable ones. I just haven’t found a high end hair mask that seems worth the extra $.
I use hair masks few times a week. It’s just something in my routine. Hair masks make such a difference in my hair. I have long very fine hair. My scalp is oily and the ends are dry and split easily. Doing hair masks few times a week really helps with the split dry ends.
My favorite drugstore hair mask is by Aussie. It is the 3 minutes miracle moist. You can get a 2 pack from Walmart for less than $5. To me it seems to have a faint coconut scent but I don’t think it actually contains coconut. It leaves my hair soft, manageable and the bottle last a long time.

Tresemme Botanique Color Vibrance and Shine Intense Mask with Pomegranate & Camellia Oil. This is just $1.99 from Target. It comes in a small packet but I got about 3 uses out of it. It will depend on the thickness of your hair. This mask has the standard Tresemme shampoo scent. This also left my hair soft and shiny. The direction say to leave it on 3-5 minutes but I usually have it on about 10 minutes. No complaints with this one.

Shea Moisture Nourish Silken Treatment Masque. Purchased from Target for under $3. This is too moisturizing for my fine hair. It leaves a greasy film and the rose scent is nauseating. I love rose scent but this is an over powering creamy rose that does not sit well with me. If you have very dry hair this should be great for you as long as you are ok with rose scent.

Pacifica Banana Love Deep Intensive Moisture Mask. You can purchase this from Ulta in full size or the mini from Pacifica site. I had the mini size and I got if from Target. Unfortunately Target doesn’t carry it anymore. It was around $3. I love this mask. It leaves my hair silky and it has a nice sweet mild banana sent. I have been trying to find it from Target to reorder but now that I found it from Ulta I will get the full size. This is a mask that I would say could be a high end mask considering the results.

Garnier Fructis 1 Minute Hair Mask. This is another mask I have gone through multiples of. You can get it from Walmart for $8. I use the mask longer than 1 minutes but I have to say it does a great job of moisturizing my hair. I dont know about repairing. It has a really nice strong scent but I dont think its natural. Im pretty sure its artificial fragrance.

Hair masks are one of my most used beauty products. I always have one on hand. Currently I have another bottle of the Aussie conditioner. Sometimes I get lazy and don’t use a hair was for a week or two and I can tell a difference. As soon as I start using hair masks again my hair is so much nicer and smoother.
