Organizing is one of my favorite things to do when I’m bored. I’m constantly changing something in my home to improve the functionality and look. I don’t just like things organize, they also have to look pretty.
I have tried many things to organize my home and just functionality doesn’t work for me. I like things to be pretty and esthetically pleasing to the eye. If it’s not I’m not happy.
My most recent organized area was my medicines and band aids. I use to have them all in sandwich bags lined up and labeled but that didn’t look pretty so I had to find a better prettier way to organize them.
Im one of those people who dont use things for just what they are meant for. I usually find multiple ways to use the item.
I was in Hobby Lobby in the craft sectioned when I saw 4×6 clear photo boxes. They are really affordable and I though these would be great to organize my bandaids by size. After setting up the band aids I loved how they looked so after thinking about it I figured I could consolidate all my medicines into them. I can label each box and stack them nice and neat.
I found 10 of the same boxes I got from Hobby Lobby from Amazon for $17.30. I found the boxes on sale from Hobby Lobby but the regular price for each box was over $2 so Amazon is cheaper. The quality is exactly the same.
It took 2 days for the boxes to arrive but boy was I excited when they arrived. I immediately started moving everything into the new boxes. I also love to label everything. I also consolidated everything from prescription jars. Prescription jars are so big and bulky and take up so much space. I found pill pouches from Walgreens to separate the prescription meds. The labels peel right off the jars they come in and you can stick it on the bag so you would have all the instruction with it.

The basket holding all the smaller boxes is from Walmart. I love these Mainstays Deco baskets so much. I have multiple baskets like this. I fold my husbands t-shirts, shorts, pants and also my shirts and leggings with the Kon Mari method. They look really nice on the shelf and everything is neatly stacked inside. I have used 6 of these white baskets on my closet shelves for years now every single day and they are still in excellent condition. Worth the money.
It’s now time to move onto my next area.
