I’m back on a salad kick. I go through phases where I like salad and then I don’t like salad. Let’s face it, salad is really not enjoyable without good dressing. Salad dressing is what makes the salad.
Vegan ice cream has become very popular in the last few years. I have tried so many but I’m never satisfied with the flavor or happy with the ingredient list.

Smoothies are nice pick me ups during the summer and in between meals. Many times I make a smoothie for breakfast when I’m in a hurry. You can have it on the go without a mess. My favorite snack smoothie is Mamey smoothie.
My husband made turkey in Mexican Barbacoa style wrapped in maguey leaves yesterday. He used the entire turkey so we ended up with a lot of left over turkey. I didn’t know what to do with all the turkey so I decided to make a salad. It’s also a great take a long lunch for work.
I love having parfaits for breakfast. It is an easy, delicious, refreshing one dish meal. Don’t forget pretty. I like pretty food.
Last Saturday we had a get together with some of our friends and I wanted to take some sort of a dessert. I didn’t feel like baking and every recipe online required something I didn’t have on hand so I improvised once again.
We were at a grocery store and my son just stopped and said that sounds good, looking at a frozen pizza. I usually don’t like anything out of a box. I’m more of a homemade kind a girl but I picked up a Mamma Cozzi’s frozen pizza.
