Whenever ColourPop comes out with something new I’m always excite to try the products. The BFF line is no different. ColourPop products are so affordable and majority of them are good.

I ordered few of the BFF eye liners and mascaras. There are so many reviews out about these I had to see what all the hype is about.

First lets get into the mascara. Mascara is my beauty essential. If I was only allowed to pick one makeup product is would be mascara.

I ordered two of them. The Kiss N Teal and Blue ya Mind. I have to say I love both of them. Neither is something I would wear to work but on the weekend definitely. I did a pretty teal look about two weeks ago and I loved it. I used some of the Kathleen Lights pigments too. My favorite is the Blue Ya Mind. It is such a pretty royal blue. The mascara wand is very much like the Too Faced Better than sex mascara but the formula of these is soooo much better. These mascaras do not smudge or budge from my lashes. The colors stay vibrant over 10 hours. SO happy I ordered these mascara to try out. I highly recommend these if you like colorful mascara. Also included swatched of both colors.

The eyeliner are a different story. I’m not good at applying eye lines and my lids have very fine lines near the lash line so pretty much every eye liner bleeds into them. The felt tip is quite scratchy and I find that it’s not flexible enough to curve with your lid. I have used the blue (crzy) and black(numero uno) and both bleed terribly on me. Maybe Im just spoiled by my NYX Epic Ink liner since I have used it for years now. The NYX Epic Ink liner does not bleed and dries very quickly. Also these BFF eye liners are very glossy. I also got the white (Graceland) and that seems very watery. I only swatched the white one but from the swatches I’m not impressed. The blue is very dark navy blue. The swatches from left to right are Crzy, Numero uno & Graceland.

I personally do not recommend the liners but of course it could be just me since eye liner application is not my strong suite. I highly recommend the mascara.
