Who has heard of Colourpop Cosmetics and Kathleen Lights the Youtuber. Just about everyone right? I recently tried out Colourpop Super Shock Shadows and I fell in love with the formula. When Kathleen Lights came out with her most recent collaboration with Colourpop, The Twinkling Lights Super Shock Shadow Foursome I knew I had to order the set.
Her packaging is always so beautiful and unique. She always makes her packaging different from the most recent trend which I find important. It shows that she is her own creative person who doesn’t do things just to be popular. She really puts deep thought into her packaging and the collaborations she does.
Sooooo the Twinkling Lights Foursome set. There are 4 shades, Glisten, Vela, Light up and Blitzen. I love all of them. So far I have used every shade but one . The shade I haven’t used has to be my favorite one but I usually don’t wear something this bold and bright so I have been scared to try it out.
Glisten is my every day go to shade. It is a beautiful peach shade with a golden sheen. This color has flecks of tiny glitters but they do not fall on your face.
Vela is so so pretty. It is a khaki camel shade with purple duochrome finish. This one sheds glitter. I used this few days ago and I had glitter under my eyes. The purpley glitter is so pretty I couldn’t be mad. LOL
Light up is a rose gold with gold specks. This is a very shimmery shade. No matter what way you turn you can see golden sheen.
Blitzen is a red coral with pinkish red glitter and the shade I’m scared to try. This one is very glittery and bold. Absolutely gorgeous but very bright.
Anyone who loves shimmer will love these shadows. I can wear these shadows for 12 hours without any creasing or budging. Just about everything starts looking muddy and gross on my lower lash line few hours into the day but these shadows do not budge. They are as bold at 7pm as they were when I applied 7am . After about 15 hours you can start seeing creasing with hooded eyes like mine and I do not use any eye shadow primer with these.
I also ordered the Twinkling Lights lip set. This set comes with 4 shades, Little Star, Night Light, Lucky Star and Étoile. There are two ultra glossy lip glosses, 1 ultra matte liquid lipsticks and 1 satin liquid lipstick.

Little Star is a matte rusty warm brown. I have pink lips naturally so on me it looks somewhat burgundy against my fair porcelain skin.
Night Light is glossy metallic brown with purple glitter. It actually looks really pretty.
Lucky Star is a satin bright cherry red shade. On me it looks fire engine red. Perfect Christmas lipstick or a little black dress kind of color.
Étoile is a glossy metallic rose gold. This is my favorite shade. I like putting just a little bit in the center of my lips over a nude lipstick. This makes your lips look so plump and juicy.
This lip set is not for everyone. If you like bold and unusual go for it but if you are a nude lip person don’t waste your money. You won’t use any of the shades in this set.
I highly recommend any of the Colourpop Super Shock shadows. This set or any other color. As long as you find a shade you like you will love these. You can use a blending brush to blend them out or a finger. I use a blending brush and I start on my lid close to the lashes and then blend into the crease for my everyday makeup. When you use a finger the colors are much bolder and brighter.
Did you order the sets and do you love it? I personally should have skipped the lip set.
Love Kat
