Another subscription box review. I recently found out about Play by Sephora. Knowing Sephora sells high end products I was very intrigued by this subscription box.

Play by Sephora is similar to Ipsy. Also $10 per month. You get 5 sample size items and you don’t get the makeup bag each month which I find nice. When I use to get Ipsy I never knew what to do with those little colorful bags. I only carry a lipgloss with me so the pile of little makeup bags just kept on growing. I also received a bonus item this month so I actually got 6 items.

Item 1- Buxom mini Full-On Plumping Lip Polish in Celeste. This is a peachy shade lip gloss with pretty glittery sparkles. Buxom lip glosses are my favorite. They plump, moisturize and stay on for a while sort of like a lip balm. They don’t disappear from your lips like most lipglosses do. These are my go to lip products without a doubt.

Item 2-Shiseido ModernMatte Powder Lipstick in Exotic Red. I don’t own anything from this brand. I swatched the lipstick on my hand and it seems to me velvety moisturizing texture. Not your average matte lipstick.

Item 3- Marajó 3-N-1 Finishing Spray. I have never even heard of this brand or product. It is suppose to deliver volume, control and shine to the hair. You can use it on wet or dry hair. I’m excited about this product for sure.

Item 4- Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara in Black. This I have used and it is absolutely amazing. This mascara gives me volume and length and no clumps. Also lasts all day.

Item 5- Lancôme Bi-Facial Double- Action eye makeup remover. I have heard so many good things about this makeup remover. Personally I don’t use makeup remover. I prefer a facial cleanser that removes makeup and cleanses in one step.  I will try it out to see if it is as good as the reviews.

Bonus Item- Clinique Moisture Surge 72 hour gel cream. This is another product I have used and absolutely love. It is one of my go to moisturizers when my face is extra dry. It doesn’t leave your skin greasy and your face is plump and moisturized the whole day. Definitely recommend. It also sits nice under my makeup.

I’m happy with the first box and I know it will all be high-end items not like Ipsy where you get random cheap products that I never ended up using.
