The other night we had the most amazing Christmas Party with my office. We took a trolley ride through downtown to see Christmas light followed by a nice dinner. The lights were so pretty in the dark so I was inspired to do my nails for the Holidays.

The dark night with all the glowing yellow lights is so mesmerizing. People strolling the store fronts holding hands and enjoying the beautiful cool evening.  Reminded  me New Year’s Eve so much so I decided to do my nails in gold and black with rhinestones.

I used Ellie gel polish in black on three of my nails and actual loose gold glitter on the other 2 nails. The ring finger has black nail design tape to get the perfect even lines and thumbs have black rhinestones. I love this nail design so much. I think it’s going to be my go to Holiday nail look every year from now on!

This year I was having trouble finding the Holiday spirit. I feel like every year Christmas is more and more commercialized holiday than anything else. I miss the cozy Christmas Eve with my family enjoying food and watching Christmas movies. People being kind and friendly. This sparkling nail design definitely helps a little. Every time I look at my nails I smile.
