I bought the Farsáli Unicorn Essence after seeing it all over Instagram and YouTube. Everyone made it sounds so good and who doesn’t want to try pink sparkly serum on their face that’s made out of Unicorns LoL. I sure did.

The Unicorn Essence claims to be innovative oil-free solution that acts as dual-purpose serum, which helps protect the skin from free radical damage while preparing it for layering moisturizer or makeup application. This is directly from their website.

I’m willing to try anything that is pink, sparkly and smells like a cupcake. This Essence feels so nice when patted onto the skin and it smells absolutely divine. It does plump up the skin and helps makeup last longer but it does not help with the pores. If you have pores, I recommend using a pore filling primer.

I used this for 2 weeks straight and started noticing that my skin felt very rough and bumpy. I could not figure out what caused the texture. I stopped using the Essence, foundations and switched to the Bare Minerals powder to give my face a break. I noticed within days my face was getting smoother. After about a week I started using it again and once again my skin felt rough.

I do not recommend this for anyone with a sensitive skin. It causes texture just after few days. Anyone with a normal skin should be able to use it. I don’t think its worth the hype or price. Also the ingredient list is very long.
