Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I’m in a much better mood when I have breakfast in the morning and it helps me stay focused throughout the day. I like to find things that are easy, delicious and you can make ahead.
One of my go-to breakfasts is a yogurt parfait. You can use any yogurt you choose-vegan, creek or regular.
My favorite way to make it is the night before. I layer frozen triple berry mix with the yogurt and put it in the fridge overnight. The trick is the frozen berries. You can use fresh berries but it won’t turn out as good.
Making this parfait the night before with the frozen berries will allow the berries to melt and create a berry sauce in between the layers of yogurt. In the morning I top it off with whatever I’m in the mood for. Fresh bananas, berries, nuts, granola, sprinkle of hemp seeds or chia seeds. The options are endless.
Also, it is very aesthetically pleasing layered in a glass container.
