Hello my Beauties! Here is another BoxyCharm review. This months box is called the Alter Ego.

I personally feel that this months box was not that great. Not that it’s bad products but just not what I’m excited about or what works for me.

First item is the PUR Midnight Masquerade face palette $38. It is very colorful and pigmented. The face products are dark and can leave you looking like a clown very quickly. The eyeshadows are beautiful and unique but this palette really is not something you can use on a daily bases. I can’t get a full look with just this palette. Face products are too dark for my skin shade and the eyeshadows don’t have a transition shade. Eyeshadows are great for lower lash line for a pop of color.

Second item is the It Cosmetics Superhero mascara $24. I have very fine and very long lashes naturally and most mascaras cause my lashes to clump. This mascara is a clump central with my lashes. If you have nice thick individual lashes I think you may like this mascara but for fine lash girl it is not good. I really love the Benefit Roller Lash $25 and a cheaper alternative is the Covergirl LashBlast $8.99.

Third item is the Kat Von D Lolita liquid lipstick. It is a beautiful chestnut rose shade. This lipstick dries matte and stays on for a long time. If you have dry lips make sure you use a lip balm underneath or you will see every line on your lips.

Fourth item is the Dermovia Lace a Peel Black Bamboo Charcoal Peel off Mask $30. I’m not sure which item I like less. This mask or the mascara. The mask is very pricey and I honestly can’t tell what it does for my skin. The mask comes in a small tube and the product itself is very sticky. Kind of like tar. You put the lace mask over the wet product and leave it on about 15-20 minutes. The lace does help peel off the mask much easier.

Fifth item is the Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm $22. This is my favorite product out of the entire box. This months box is worth it just for this item. It cleanses the skin so good, even mascara and eyeliner. It moisturizes without leaving a nasty greasy feeling like most cleansing balms do. Also when I use a toner after I don’t see any makeup left. Highly recommend this product.
